We fix the thread, leave the end for sewing on the head, cut it off.

Stage 5

First, with the help of colored pins, we make markings for eye tightening.

1) Count down from the top of the 17 rows of Sc down and put a blue pin (dot) in the center of the protruding part of the head (see photo).

2) Count from the blue pin 5 Sc to the left and 2 Sc up, put the green pin (dot).

3) Count from the green pin (point) 1 Sc up and put the purple pin (point).

4) Count from the blue pin (point) 5 Sc to the right and 2 Sc up, put the red pin (point).

5) Count from the red pin (point) 1 Sc up and put the pink pin (point).

6) In the last row of knitting the head perpendicular to the blue pin, put the yellow pin (dot).

We make eye tightening using a long needle and a nylon string (or fishing line) as follows: insert the needle at the yellow dot, output at the green dot, re-insert the needle at the purple dot and output at the pink dot, then insert the needle at the red dot and output to the unclosed head hole. Slightly tighten the thread, tie the ends to several knots and hide them in the open hole in the head (see photo).

Stage 6. Registration of the face.

We make out the eyes.

1) We cut out two white blanks for eyes with a size of about 28 * 30 mm from white felt (if you knit from the same threads as I or similar in density), we look at the shape in the photo.

2) We make small cuts in the center of the resulting blanks. Insert the blue pupil eyes with a diameter of 25 mm into the incisions.

3) We try on the obtained eyes on the head.

4) Sew the felt details of the eyes with brown threads “Iris” or “Mouline thread” with small stitches with a sewing hem.

5) Pupils of the eyes are smeared on the back with transparent super-glue and glued.

Note! If you have eyes with a leg or screw on the back, you do not need to file them off. Stretch the loop on the head in the place where the pupils should stand, and insert the leg or screw inside the head, then glue the pupil. So the eye will stay more reliable.

6) On the edge of the eye, glue false eyelashes with transparent super-glue (see photo).

We make out the nose.

We retreat from the inner corners of the eyes 2 rows of Sc down and embroider a nose 2 Sc wide with three or four stitches with flesh-colored threads. Then with brown threads “Iris” or “Mouline thread” we embroider the contour of the nose (see photo).

We rise 2 rows Sc up above the eyes and brown thread “Iris” or “Mouline thread” embroider small eyebrows (see photo).

We make a mouth.

We retreat from the nose 2 rows Sc down and with dense raspberry (or any other) thread we embroider the contour of the lips. Then we fill the space inside the embroidered contour with horizontal stitches. We apply the stitch embroidery technique.

We make ears.

We count 14 rows of Sc down from the crown and in the middle of the head along the sides with a chain stitch we embroider the contour of the ear (see photo). We do not cut the thread, but for the obtained loops we knit Sc, thus we get ears.

Stage 7. Hair and hairstyle.

For convenience, we first make markings on the head, designate the future “hairline.” To do this, take brown or black threads “Iris” or “Mouline thread” and embroider “hairline” with large stitches (see photo).

We make the preparation of the hair itself from black karakul-stretch yarn. We take any book with a height (width) of 20 cm, wrap it in height (width) with threads, then we cut the threads from one edge with scissors (see photo below). The hairs are about 40 cm long.

☝Note!

We prepare hair as needed so as not to spoil the entire skein.

Hair fixing

We fasten the hair to the head like a fringe: holding the hook in the direction “from the crown”, enter it under Sc, cling the hair folded in half, pull out the loop, thread the ends of the hair into the pulled loop, tighten (see photo).

Thus, we fix the hair first along the contour of the “hairline”, then fill the entire space inside these lines (see photo). Hair should be attached under each Sc, but through a row of Sc.

We tie the hair in two ponytails on the sides of the head.

Sew the finished head to the body.

Stage 8. Shorts + bandage.

🌸Part 1. Shorts.

First, we knit the left and right legs with st. Blue threads, with the hook chosen for the main knitting.

1 row: dial 42 Ch and close in the ring Sl-st (42)

☝Note! You should get a ring of such a size that the legs of the doll could freely pass through it, since the shorts will be worn through the legs. If necessary, increase the amount of Ch in the ring.

2 – 12 rows (11 rows): 42 Sc (42)

13 row: (Dec Sc, 5 Sc) * 6 (36)

14 – 17 row (4 rows): 36 Sc (36)

We fix the thread, cut it off.

Turn the trouser leg back

c on the body, 8 Sc on the left handle, 14 Sc on the body (44)

We fasten the wire from the handles to the main winding, we isolate it well with a tissue adhesive plaster or electrical tape.

28 row: (8 Sc, Dec Sc, 10 Sc, Dec Sc) * 2 (40)

29 row: (8 Sc, Dec Sc) * 4 (36)

30 row: (8 Sc, Dec Sc, 6 Sc, Dec Sc) * 2 (32)

31 row: 3 Sc, Dec Sc, 14 Sc, Dec Sc, 11 Sc (30)

32 row: (3 Sc, Dec Sc) * 6 (24)

We stuff the body and shoulders with filler.

33 row: 1 Sc, Dec Sc, (2 Sc, Dec Sc) * 5, 1 Sc (18)

34 row: (1 Sc, Dec Sc) * 6 (12)

35 -39 row: 12 Sc (12)

We fix the thread, leave the end for sewing on the head, cut it off.

We fix the thread, cut it off.

Turn the trouser leg backnku. We attach the brown thread to the first half-loop of the 1st row and tie the leg to the bottom Sc: 42 Sc.

We fix the brown thread, cut it off.

We turn the trouser leg up and do the turn-up (about 5 rows Sc).

We knit the second leg in the same way, but we don’t cut the blue thread after the 17th row of knitting on it, we continue to connect the legs.
